Digitization is becoming increasingly important in the automotive industry, especially through the use of Digital Twins and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). This presentation explores the challenges and benefits of integrating Digital Twins along the V-model and demonstrates how these technologies, combined with DevOps practices (CI/CD/CT), can accelerate and optimize system development. A case study on the development and validation of power electronics will illustrate the practical application and achieved benefits.
René Honcak is currently Head of Digital Twin in the Electrified Powertrain Technology division at the ZF Group. In this role, which he has held since January 2024, he leads the development and implementation of digital twins for e-mobility.
